Half a dozen years have passed since 14 January 2016 Hekimen, the UPV/EHU, Mondragon Unibertsitatea and the University of Deusto (subsequently joined by the Basque University of Summer) signed the convention for the establishment of the Observatory. This tour has built the most comprehensive database compiled by the Basque media; each year the yearbook of the Basque media has been published; numerous seminars and courses have been held and the frameworks and tools for collaboration between the sector, researchers and the administration have been worked out. This year we have just begun, we have also done so with objectives, challenges and a lot of work. There is the BEHA research line, the exercise of updating the digital measurement of the communication space in Euskera, or the proposal of an integral measurement system of the audience of the Basque media.
This is the chronological axis that summarizes the trajectory of the Observatory, which includes the work of these six years and the activities that deserved to be highlighted: first steps, projects launched, publications, conferences, training sessions and others.
